Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the personal information you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who we are
ThriveX AI Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect, and only when you send it
There are two things on this site that receive anything from you, and both need you to type something first.
The contact form. We receive the name you type, and the email address or phone number you give us, along with anything you write in the message box.
The assistant. The chat bubble on our home page is an assistant that answers questions about what we build. We receive what you type into it, and what it replies. It does not ask you for your name, phone number, email or address, and if you want us to get in touch it will point you at the contact form rather than take your details itself. If you type something personal into it anyway, that text is kept for thirty days like the rest of the conversation.
We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies at all, which is why you were not asked to accept any. We do not record your IP address or anything else that would link one visit to another.
Why we hold it, and on what legal basis
We use what you send through the contact form for one purpose: to reply to you about the enquiry you made. The lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR. You asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you would reasonably expect.
We keep assistant conversations for one purpose too: to see where the assistant answered badly and correct it. The lawful basis is again legitimate interests — running a tool on our own site and fixing it when it gets something wrong. We do not use conversations to build a profile of you, and we do not contact anyone because of what they typed into it.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we will not send you anything you did not ask for.
Where it goes
Contact form. The form sends your message straight to our email inbox. It is not stored in a database on this website. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), which acts as a processor on our behalf and may store the message on servers outside the UK. Google is covered by the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Assistant. What you type is sent to Anthropic, which provides the model that writes the reply and acts as a processor on our behalf. That processing may happen on servers outside the UK. The conversation is also stored in a small database on our own server in order to keep it for the thirty days described below; that database is read by one person at ThriveX, through a password-protected page, and by nobody else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the contract and for tax records, which HMRC requires us to hold for six years.
Assistant conversations are deleted automatically after thirty days. This is not a manual tidy-up we might forget: the server deletes anything older than thirty days on a schedule.
Who else sees it
Nobody beyond the processors named above. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with other companies, and we do not pass enquiries to other trades or lead-generation services.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or restrict how we use it
- object to us relying on legitimate interests
Email thrivexai33@gmail.com and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge.
For an assistant conversation, tell us roughly when you used it and what you asked, and we will find it and delete it. We deliberately hold nothing that identifies you across visits, so there is no account or reference number to quote — that is the trade-off for not tracking you, and it is why we would need those details to find the right conversation.
If you are not happy with how we handled it
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
