Accountants for small businesses in Manchester. One fixed fee, and a reply the same day.
Books, tax returns, payroll and VAT for sole traders, limited companies and landlords. You’ll know your tax bill months before it’s due.
Why people move to us
Most clients call us “my bookkeeper”. We don’t mind.
We do the books, yes. We also tell you in the spring what your tax bill will be the following January, so you can put it aside. And when HMRC writes to you, you forward it to us and stop worrying about it.
Who we work with
Pick what you are. See what you’d pay.
A fixed monthly fee, agreed before we start. If your business changes, we tell you before the fee does.
Most sole traders we work with pay this.

Making Tax Digital
The new rules, in plain English.
If you’re self-employed or a landlord, HMRC now wants a short update every three months, sent from software, as well as your tax return. Whether it applies to you depends on your income before expenses.

Questions
Before you ring.
Can I switch from my current accountant?
Yes, at any point in the year. We write to them for your records, so you don’t have to have that conversation.
Do you charge for phone calls?
No. Calls and emails are in the monthly fee, however many there are.
What if HMRC writes to me?
Take a photo and send it to us. We’ll tell you what it means the same day, and reply to HMRC for you.
Which software do you use?
Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent. If you already use one, we’ll carry on with it. If not, it’s included in the fee.
Do I have to come into the office?
No. Plenty of clients we’ve never met in person. Come in if you’d like to: there’s always a kettle on.
I’m behind on my tax return. Can you still help?
Yes. Ring us, tell us how far behind, and we’ll give you a fixed price to catch up before we start.
A 20-minute call. No charge, no obligation.
Tell us what you do and roughly what you earn. We’ll tell you the monthly fee on the call.
