Independent vets · Walkley, Sheffield
The vets who know your dog by name.
A small practice, not a chain. The same vet every visit, appointments that run on time, and the price of any treatment before we start it.
Why people move to us
Because they’re family, not a case number.
Most of our clients came from bigger practices where they saw a different vet every time. Here’s what’s different.
Same vet, every time
Book with whoever you saw last. They’ll remember the limp from March.
Prices before treatment
A written estimate for anything over £100, before anything is done.
Twenty-minute appointments
Long enough to ask the question you forgot last time.
Nights covered
Ring our number out of hours and you’re put straight through to the emergency vet.

Services
From first jabs to old age.
Dogs, cats, rabbits and small pets. If we can’t do it here, we’ll tell you who can and send your notes over the same day.
Check-ups & vaccinations
Yearly boosters and a nose-to-tail check while they’re here.
Neutering
Day surgery, home by teatime, and a free check a few days later.
Dental care
Scale and polish under anaesthetic, with a photo of every tooth afterwards.
Surgery & X-ray
Our own theatre and digital X-ray, so most things are sorted on site.
Older pets
Arthritis, kidneys, weight. A senior check every six months on the plan.
Rabbits & small pets
Teeth, diet and vaccinations for rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.
Health plans
The routine care, spread across the year.
Vaccinations, check-ups and flea and worm treatment for a fixed monthly amount, plus money off anything else. Pick your pet to see the plan.

Local
We walk the same paths you do.
We’re on South Road in Walkley, five minutes from the Rivelin Valley. Parking outside, a ramp at the door, and a separate waiting room for cats, so nobody gets barked at.
Ring 0114 496 0257. After 7pm and at weekends the line puts you straight through to the emergency vet, and we get their notes first thing.
The team
Four of us, and our lot at home.
Everyone here has pets of their own. Ask about them; it’s how most first appointments start.
